In the first quarter of 2022, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Brazil displayed diverse performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals insights into weekly downloads and active users for Uber - Request a ride, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver, inDrive. Save on city rides, BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus, and Uber Lite.

Uber - Request a ride demonstrated robust weekly download figures, beginning the quarter with 227K downloads and reaching a peak of approximately 279K in early March. Weekly active users showed a steady increase from 8.6M at the start of January to over 10.2M by mid-March, before slightly declining to around 9.5M by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver experienced a fluctuating download trend, starting with 71K and peaking at 91K in the first week of January, then stabilizing around 81K by the end of March. Active users saw a slight dip from 878K to 810K in early January but recovered to 838K by the end of the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a varied performance in downloads, starting with 84K and peaking at 91K in early March. Active users fluctuated, beginning at 2.5M, dipping to 2.1M in early January, and then gradually increasing to 2.6M by the end of March.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw a declining trend in downloads, starting with 101K and dropping to approximately 38K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, beginning at 1.07M and ending the quarter at around 790K.

Uber Lite maintained a steady download rate, starting with 9K and increasing to 15K by mid-March. Active users showed a slight decline, from 789K at the beginning of January to 691K by the end of March.
